At Story Church Flint, we believe in empowered men and women. There are sections of the global Church that believe only men can speak or teach God’s Word and lead on His behalf. At Story Church Flint, we recognize the God-given gifts of both men and women and believe God wants to elevate both to do His work.

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity. He became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to save us.
We believe that all people are created in the image of God and are designed to have a relationship with Him. However, all people have sinned, and in turn, ruined that relationship with Him. Through our own efforts, we are incapable of mending that relationship.
We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God without error because the writers were moved by the Spirit of God to write those words. It is the only book that has the power to transform lives.
We believe that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as payment for their sin.
We believe baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment – it is a declaration to the world that we have received salvation through Jesus and symbolizes His death, burial, and resurrection.
We believe all Jesus followers should live a life for Jesus, not themselves. This occurs through obedience to the Word of God and daily submission to the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus is the head. The members of the Church are those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. The purpose of the Church is to glorify God and make Him known throughout the world.
